FlashFlash is available for a new home
He’s a 16.1
10 years of age
Irish x cob
Very forward going and reactive.
He needs a nice quite rider on him as isn’t the easiest of rides although my absolute favourite to ride! He’s very fun and knows his job.
He’s up to date with, teeth, back and vacs
He has done everything I can think off
Show jumped up to 3 foot
Hunting (proved to strong for me out hunting)
he’s great in traffic and to hack alone and in company however has a fast walk to is always at the front of the ride (I always tend to have to keep stop and waiting for little ponies) so I tend to hack more with bigger horses that can keep up
I have ridden and lead off him too which he’s fab with.
He’s only front shoes but had been shoes all around.
Flash does kick the door if he’s in the stable for long periods of time and there is people around. In the winter this is when it’s the rainy days and I leave in, he gets bored!
Great to box and travel, catch, groom and tack up. (He especially loves having his bridle on and will grab with bit himself)
He’s not a straight forward easy ride. But as long as you have a good seat (he has a bouncy collected canter) and sensible hands he will do anything for you. He tried his hardest to please me and will do anything I ask of him. His flat work isn’t all that great as I have only recently gone to a yard with a school. Jumping is where he excels. He will never be a dressage horse. Although he would try his best to understand what was being asked!
He is available with bridle and rugs. However the saddle I have for him has not long cost me a lot of money. So I am open to selling this but at a separate price. I’m open to trials from my yard and I only want him to go to the right place so he doesn’t end up being sold on again! I have owned flashy for years and this decision hasn’t come lightly.
