Willing, 14.1hh 5 year old Cob

This lovely chap is for sale looking for a new long term home

Unfortunately I was left him and I just don't have the money to keep him long term, but I have kept him nearly a year to try and do right by him and make sure he's calm and healthy ready for a new home.

He's 14.1hh cob gelding, just turned 5 years old.

Moves nicely so nice potential if someone wanted to compete but equally absolutely happy to navigate poles, tarpaulin, hoops and curtains so would definitely excel at agility or le trec if that's what your interest is. I have seen him jump (naturally in the field) so there's potential there too but I've only done some pole work with him up to this point.

We've walked out a little but the yard is near a main road with lorry after lorry so we haven't had chance to pursue hacking but there's building work going on near the yard and he is not worried with diggers or the banging and sawing going on.

He's good to tie up, groom, catch, lead. His voice commands on lead are really good.

He's previously had leg issues and now he's happy to have all 4 picked out and brushed.

He does resource guard around food, I've been working on this and he has improved alot and he's absolutely fine to clicker train as long as the food is of a low value to him e.g. chaff, hay cobs, alfalfa pellets.

He lives out in a group on a grassy track with ad lib hay, he loves company and is fine around hay, just around hard feed he will resource guard.

He loves a fuss and working, he waits at the gate when he sees me until I go and get him and do something with him.

He's recently been backed and is very willing, calm and sweet.

If someone is local I'm very happy for him to be shared or loan with view to buy so I know he's found the right person.

I'm sure with the right person, he'll make a really fun pony.
