Ferney is 8 years old and around 16hh RoR.

I had her in for re schooling a few years ago 2020 I think! And she has been used for hacking by her owner’s family since.

I have had her in for some more schooling the last couple of months, she’s been to local show centres and is jumping small courses of show jumps and xc jumps.

Recently I have been taking her out and about to local competition centres where she has behaved very well indeed. She has gone straight through water and over the ditches , up and down the small steps etc. without issue. Jumping small courses of jump jumps and xc jumps. She is schooling sweetly on the flat ans will do a nice test in time.

Ferney is a sweet mare with a loving cuddly character not your stereotypical mare at all.

She has been ridden by a real verity of riders from novices upwards.

She isn’t dangerous and I don’t believe anyone has ever fallen off of her, however she is not completely straightforward. She does some classic TB mare moves, she’s not the best at standing still until she doesn’t like something and then she is happy to stand still, and will also reverse if you push the issue. Having said this she has never gone up, she will buck and kick out when having a strop but then will suddenly decide she’s over it then carry on like nothing happened!

Despite this she is actually a honest mare who has been so good when taken out and about, has loaded and traveled well and been really enjoyable to work with. I will continue to work with her and will start to take her out to small competitions until her new home is found.

Ok there are a few red flags in this advert I will admit! But there is something very endearing about this mare, we all really like her here and feel that she could bring some real pleasure to someone.
