The safest cob on the market

Smart, forward and a true workman type cob!

Approx 15hh, 9yo, black gelding.

Ideal riding club/ all rounder cob.

Completely and totally bombproof in every single way, will hack alone or in company. Fantastic in the heaviest of traffic, farm machinery, trailers, lorries, everything! Lives on a working farm/ heavy plant yard so used to very loud, busy environments with lots of scary things going on!

A dream to handle and do everything with. Super friendly and loving cob, great to catch, clip, shoe and will walk straight onto a trailer, 3.5 or 7.5 ton box and travel like a dream. Happy to live in or out. Can ride him every day or once a week and he will be exactly the same. No vices what so ever.

Forward going, intelligent ride that needs a home with a job. He absolutely lives to work.

Loves to jump, show jumps and XC.

Placed arena eventing at 80cm and jumped clear round an 80s hunter trial in the autumn.

Amazing in open spaces, doesn’t hot up or get silly. Also great in show atmosphere. Will stand like a rock whilst out and about doesn’t fidget, so you can enjoy a good pub ride too!

I have hunted him and whipped in off of him. He is fantastic with hounds and my dogs. They can run all round his legs and he doesn’t bat an eye.

Turns out with mares or geldings, a really gentle and sociable cob that will get along with any horse or pony in the field.

He’s jumped rails, ditches and small hedges out hunting.

Heartbreaking sale of the most perfect cob, the ONLY reason for selling is he is far too strong out hunting, and this is the only job I require from a horse. I have tried every bit and noseband known to man, but unfortunately I have to accept the fact he enjoys it far too much to the point I cannot hold him.

Not strong in any other situation. He is far better to be upfront when hacking, so ideally a home where you go on your own or your friends don’t mind you being in the lead. He is completely harmless, just a much more enjoyable hack if you are up front!

For this reason alone I will not sell him to anyone wishing to hunt as I want him to find his forever home, not sell him to someone who has the same problem as me and then has to sell him on.

No novices as he is too forward and I would prefer a home he will get to live a life of fun and doing the things he loves. He really will be someone’s horse of a life time, he is by far the most easy and genuine horse I have ever owned and will be gutted to see him go. 10* home a must where I can keep in touch. Open to any viewing or vetting. Wears a nose net when ridden in summer months.

I have so many good things to say about this cob, happy to answer any questions and sing his praises even more over the phone.
