Kiland was retired sound from racing in 2022 and has spent the last 18 months being retained with Esther, who works in the racing yard where he was trained.

Kiland is a complete gentleman and he has thrived in his new lifestyle. Over the past 18 months he has been working on his flat work and has great potential with 3 nice paces. Schooled SJ and X Country and improves the more he does. ROR eligible. Excellent happy hacker alone or in company and frequently used leading ponies off him. He isn't spooky and is very sensible with traffic, children and chaotic farm life. On the ground he is very mannerly and good to box, shoe,clip etc.

He is a chunky TB with plenty of bone and has clean legs. He is a straightforward horse who doesn't need to be ridden every day to keep sane. But he is a strong type who can take a hold at times so not a complete novice ride. He will excel in hacking, ROR or eventing unfortunately Esthers work and family commitments hasn't allowed for him to fulfil his full potential, but he is well on his way.

It is with a heavy heart that he is being sold as he really is a special kind of horse, that has so much potential for someone to enjoy and compete. He is also a joy to have around the yard, and is easy to do in all ways. He is fit and ready to progress at the moment. A kind loving home is a priority.
