Eye catching mare

Approx 16hh, 10 year old Grey Mare.

Very pretty mare with an athletic compact sporty build.

She is a homebred mare so full history known, she was bred for eventing but unfortunately didn’t make the height for her 6ft4 rider.

She has three lovely paces with a great talent for dressage, with further training she has the ability to reach at least BD medium level with ease. She is good to box, shoe, clip. My farrier shoes her by himself whilst I’m at work, she loads/ travels alone or with others in 3.5t, 7.5t, 18t lorries, I don’t own a trailer so never needed to use one.

She is low mileage & is green in places due to owners lack of time, with full time work commitments & a sports horse breeding program. I am focusing more on my breeding so my ridden homebreds are looking for new homes. she has done plenty of hacking alone and in company, in open spaces and country lanes, bridle ways & Delamere Forrest she’s good to babysit youngsters. She’s been on numerous pub rides in the summer where she’s always admired.

She has done lots of fun rides & farm rides including the Chester Zoo ride which she absolutely loves. She enjoys her canters in open fields usually with me one handed whilst filming, she goes infront or behind & is easy to pull up.

She has a nice temperament but can be grumpy in the stable. She’s happy to be stable or will live out on her own or with friends.

She is not a novice ride as she’s forward going and responsive off the leg, she is ridden in a snaffle for all 3 phases.

She’s up to date with teeth and shoeing.
