Looking for a Dressage/ Showing home …
Dougal is an experienced show horse he has competed and won at all levels including HOYS, Royal Internet, Royal Windsor,Hickstead he completed as a “Hack”
Since his showing career Dougal has been in an allrounder home recently he has consistently been out winning at dressage unaffiliated prelim and novice.
He has lovely expressive movement and is nicely off the leg, He has a trainable attitude and loves his flat work.
He has all the buttons can do his lateral work and is in a consistent good frame.
He is obedient and eager to please.
He would be the perfectionist of the horse world.
His current owner has done pleasure rides some jumping, clinics etc. but out of everything has found his love is for flat work and would like him to go to a home to do what’s he loves. he will pop the odd fence but doesn’t live for it and would be green for his age in this area, where as you ask for medium trot and this boy thrives!!
Will hack alone or in company ! Walks around the block like his in the show ring.
He has a little engine he only uses it in the correct way but we are looking for someone who wants to use it and not try make him something he isn’t or suppress him ! He is an absolute pleasure to work with be around he loves been pampered and routine !
Currently they are all in here but he does love turnout something he didn’t get much of when he was showing.
Great to clip shoe load handle.
