Allrounder/show jumper for sale

Ella is a 7 yr old, 16.3, thoroughbred. She’s a very good looking horse, well put together and not a typical fine set tb.

She has been in a riding club home the last few years but due to change in work circumstances she is now looking for a new home.

Ella works well on the flat and has been showjumping recently which she absolutely loves. She’s balanced and very rideable, is happy to sort herself out and look after you or listens if you hold or go. She’s not spooky at all, will jump absolutely anything you point her at. She’s forward going but not strong. Can be joggy to start with but just wants to get on with it. She will definitely go far with the right rider. Has been xc schooling and enjoyed it, again very bold. She’s a sensitive and sometimes hot horse schooling and therefore needs someone with a decent understanding of riding on the flat and balance. Shes a lovely forward going ride and loves to get on with it.

She thoroughly enjoys hacking alone and in company. Good in open spaces and always snaffle mouthed, very responsive, happy to go up and down gears. Would love fun rides. Ella would make a great showjumping horse/ riding club horse or I think she’d really enjoy hunting and team chasing. She’d be a teenagers dream!

Her only downfalls are that she stresses in the stable when unsettled and box walks and weaves.When settled she’s happy being stabled. She is fine living out and has done over recent years.

When she’s in a good routine she is good for the farrier with a likit but after being unsettled moving yards we sedated her this time. A tube of sedaline can come with her to help until she’s settled in.

Overall, Ella is a lovely horse that will enjoy a multitude of jobs. She’s a big horse and wouldn’t be suited to a total novice. Brand new, fitted saddle is available along with bridle and some rugs.
