AES British Warmblood Mare, rising 10 years. Buckskin. Sold as a broodmare only following an accident from a kick from another horse which tragically & suddenly ended her ridden career. She has been a super easy broodmare sent to stud for AI due to owners inexperience as an amateur breeder. Late stages of her pregnancy & early stages of foaling were textbook & she foaled easily whilst I watched having waited for me to arrive in the morning. She's an excellent mother & has allowed her amateur owner access at all times to check her at all stages of her pregnancy, during foaling & post birth to check her Colt right from the moment he was born. She was easy too for the vet's intrusive inspections. Despite her size & we put her to 15.1hh Welsh D she has produced an enormous foal which we believe to be a throwback to her sire as at 5 months he is already 13.1hh She has some good bloodlines including KWPN Nimmerdor & Burggraaf. Her colt foal may also be available by separate negotiation he is also a buckskin born 1/6/23 his sire a Welsh Sec D selected for his versatility, temperament & is the first Section Sec D in AES history to be graded with the society the sire a true sports D. Both Mare & foal are friendly both of which have loved visit from owner's daughters schoolfriends. Unexpected sale of Mare (possibly foal) as foal was bred with our own requirements in mind to combined the original (before injury) movement (Cadence) of the Mare with the versatility of the sire with a plan to produce a level headed Dressage horse for Junior rider & Mum share so this is a sad sale through no fault of Mare or foal. Ideally we would have kept her to breed more foals for dressage. Mare £2000 both £7500
