Balou is low mileage as she started her event career in 2020 as the owner fancied a change and gained consistent success and many double clears at BE100.
She has also moved upto novice but she doesn’t have any points so would be perfect for grassroots / U18 events, though she has enormous scope and would find novice easily achievable.
She is a brave XC mare who looks for the flags which has given great confidence to her first time BE owner.

- 5th Kelsall Hill UA 100 2022
- 5th Epworth UA Brigante Cup Qualifier 2022
BS jumped up to 1.10 with many double clears and placings at a variety of venues. She has enormous scope and is careful. Still in Discovery points. However, with her owner she lost the love for show jumping and started finding them spooky but still flying XC. Since she has been with us for the last 2 months she has started jumping again a lot more confidently and constantly and I’m confident with the right rider she will easily be competitive at 100 and above.
She has beautiful paces on the flat, she gives a great feel. Scored consistently at British Eventing and has done very well on various Riding Club teams competitions. She is certainly flashy enough for British Dressage success.
She has been on many Dressage , Show Jumping, arena eventing, Eventing Riding Club teams & been to both summer & winter championships.
She is a competition brained mare. She’s not tricky or difficult so would be suitable for a teen /amateur but thrives on a job and is forward and responsive, so a competent, competitive home is a must for this special mare.

No negative medical history. A tough, hardy mare. Up to date with teeth, vaccs, physio, etc.
