He is a straight forward horse to handle. He is a sensitive ride and will need an experienced rider that is confident and knowledgeable on how to ride sensitive thoroughbreds, no novices. He is ridden in a snaffle and has been shown in a pelham. Hacks alone or in company.
Schools at prelim level dressage. Easy to clip, shoe and perfect to load and travels well on a lorry, 3.5t box or trailer and will stand on box all day at a show. Not clingy in anyway. No vices or issues.
He competed last season at Intro dressage and first time out scored above 65% to be placed 2nd. Behaved impeccably at the show especially in a very busy warm up. Now this spring aiming for Prelim dressage competition. He showed at Melplash Agricultural Society Show 2023 in the Novice ROR class and first time out qualified for Aintree Championships 2024.
He will be very suited to a dressage / showing / hacking home. However he does have a scopey careful jump and always jumped boldly in his racing career. He continues to do plenty of pole strengthening work at home. Has been show jump training and not spooky with fillers or coloured poles.
He is being carefully retrained and shows to be very trainable with a willing temperament and absolutely loving life in his new career.
Last ran Jan 2023 and sadly did incur a mild 24% soft tissue tendon injury. The injury received 5* rehab treatment with the intention to go back to racing for 2024. The injury has healed very well with no lasting issues and upon last scan Oct23 it was confirmed by vets that the leg is healed very well (pictures of recent tendon scan can be provided upon request). However, as he has taken so well to the re-training and at rising 9yrs old, the decision has been made to retire him from racing and continue his new ROR career.
A BHA Non-Racing Agreement will be registered to protect him from returning to the racecourse.
He does have a blemish scar on off fore (white leg) this is from a previous superficial injury when he was young. This was successfully covered for ROR showing.
Super talented horse & ultra kind in his nature and really deserves the very best home. He's had a quiet winter with a short break due to lack of time and is now ready to sell this spring to continue his career. Will go far with the right rider in most low level disciplines.
Please no novices and new home must have understanding of dealing with thoroughbred behaviours.
He is very special to us all and we know him side out and he will only continue to excel in his new career with the right rider / home.
This horse must sell as promptly as possible due to lack of time and ongoing funds. Open to discuss appropriate offers or possibility of loan for the right home. Sale price may be subject to change as his retraining progresses this spring.
Up to date with vaccinations and physio.
