“Dee Dee” is an eye catching 8 year old minimally marked dun tobiano mare. Dee is approximately 12.2hh/12.3hh part bred Welsh. Registered with WPCS, CHAPS and BSPA. She has been sadly outgrown quickly by her 13yr old rider. Professionally produced by Team Hillyard as a youngster, lack of riders over the years in previous homes means she is very low mileage for her age. Fabulous show prospect - second pony type for confident petite child / teen. She has had a 4yr old novice on the lead rein and behaved fantastically, but this is not something she has done much of in her current home so couldn’t say 100% if this is something she would happily do full time. She lives in or out and is currently stabled through winter, she has been out in a mixed herd which also included donkeys! Easy to do in every way, she’ll happily stand all day to be groomed and fussed and lovely to handle on the ground. Dee Dee schools nicely on the flat and has popped some small jumps. She has been out to Somerford over the summer and was not phased by water or solid jumps. She is confident to hack and is happy to lead nervous or unsure horses, she is not phased by traffic or silly in open fields. Hacks alone or in company. Dee has also been to our local show where she was impeccably behaved. She has been successful with in-hand showing in previous homes. Good to load and for farrier, she’s up to date with teeth and vaccinations. She’s good to clip although doesn’t like her legs being clipped due to their delicate nature. Dee has been known to crib and has had previous episode of choke with a past owner but none with us. Dee Dee comes with tack and some rugs. No timewasters. 5* home only for this sweet girl.
