Leads nicely and will stand tied up to be groomed. She is a little shy still as has had little handling, but will come to easily as she gets a bond and builds trust. A super summer project for an experienced family.
I feel she will be a longer project than I have time for, as my time is taken with clients ponies over the summer months, and she will benefit from one to one. In the time I have had her she has accepted a saddle and bridle without a problem. I have taught her to lunge and she will work over poles, and also popped a few cross poles, and has been lightly backed. I have taught her to trot up in hand as she preferred to hang back behind me initially. She will now let me groomed her legs and pick out all 4 feet. She had accepted a rug and quite enjoying the pampered life here!
She will be a very rewarding project as once the trust is built, she will be your very best friend. I just wish I had bought her over winter when I have much more time for my own projects
Please no novices, or people wanting to jump straight on and get going. She needs time doing groundwork and building a connection with someone. I see a very exciting future though for this stunning mare
