My daughter is genuinely besotted with him so please no messers.
He is a beautifully schooled pony with three lovely paces and is a real pleasure to watch on the flat. My daughter has also done floor poles with him, although jumping is not his thing and he would much rather focus on what he enjoys and excels at. He would do it with some work. I’m told he has good breeding.
He is a responsive, well-educated ride who has taught my daughter how to ride correctly, so he is best suited to a balanced rider with soft hands. He’s not a traditional FYFR but he was my daughter’s first pony. Has never bucked or reared. With a confident rider he will be fine. He absolutely thrives with a quiet partnership and consistent routine, and is best when kept in regular work. He will build an incredible bond with his person.
He is good to handle, good in the stable, and enjoys fuss and attention from people he knows. He doesn’t kick or bite. He will take time to settle with new people and environments, but once settled he is a loving and rewarding pony to have around. He can be stressy when left alone but he will soon settle. He hacks out first or last, but he can be spooky, so we feel he would suit a quiet, knowledgeable home. He can be lead from another horse. We’ve done a lot of hacking with him the last few months and he has behaved impeccably.
He would benefit from restricted grazing as he bloats as soon as he looks at a blade of grass but he has never had laminitis.
Selling as my daughter is now looking for an all-rounder type to do some jumping with.
