River

14.1hh 9 year old Apaloosa Gelding.

I brought River earlier this year with every intention of improving my riding and start competing. However River knows his job and does it so well he has an amazing jump which would take the right rider to all the right places. He likes his work and thrives off his rider, he can up or down the gears to suit his rider but does need a confident rider to bring out his best, his too clever and well be cheeky if he knows he can get away with it.

That being said he has all the manners in the world and will stand and be fused all day long his lovely to be around on the ground and is a firm yard favourite.

Although being 9 he still rides like a 5 year old and needs someone who will further his education correctly, that being said he has 3 lovely established paces and an amazing bold jump. He hacks alone and in company good in open spaces and has a very level head and doesn't take much notice to anything that's going on around him.

Since I have owned him he has done local clinics, sponsored rides and been cross country.

He is up to date with vaccinations, chiropractor, dentist and farrier.

He is good to show/clip&load

No expense has been spared sadly I just don't think we are the right match for one another due to no fault of his own just my confidence (lack of) and I don't want to hold him back when he lives to be out doing stuff and not just being a happy hack.

He comes with a full wardrobe including a newly fitted saddle.
