"Baloo" All Rounder

BALOO — NOT YOUR AVERAGE COB!

15.1hh | Irish Draught × Cob | 2021 | Blue & White Gelding

A real stand-out-in-the-crowd horse! Baloo is a striking, smart young cob with character, willingness and an interesting education already behind him.

Really sweet to be around on the ground, Baloo is a lovely character and a pleasure to spend time with. He’s a seriously cool little chap with so much to offer the right person!

Professionally backed at the start of 2026, he began with plenty of hacking and some schooling before returning home to continue his education. He then spent time at Cox’s Equestrian with Jake, the stunt rider, for further schooling and desensitisation—and they thought he was a great little chap!

His adventures there included carrying flags and jousting poles, long mountain hacks, schooling and starting to jump. He even helped deliver haynets!

With us, Baloo has been out schooling around show jumps and arena eventing fences, where he has been brave, scopey and shown lots of potential. He has willingly tried everything we’ve introduced him to, giving us plenty to be excited about for his future!

He also hacks well alone and in company, taking things in his stride.

Under saddle, Baloo can be tense and a little sensitive at times, so he needs a confident, capable rider to continue his education and bring out his best. He is not suitable for novices. For someone who enjoys building a partnership with a smart young horse, he has so much to offer—we feel he will give his all for the right person.

An eye-catching cob for someone to develop, enjoy and have plenty of adventures with!
