Responsible, experienced returning rider

I’m an enthusiastic adult rider looking for a horse to part-share around 3 days a week. I spent my teenage years working on yards (riding stables & dressage stud) and riding regularly, and had horses on loan for some time. After a break following university, I’ve recently returned to riding with regular lessons and realised just how much I’ve missed having horses in my life! I’m looking for a wonderful partnership to build a bond with and spend quality time around the yard.

About me:

Balanced rider. Enjoy flatwork, showjumping, and hacking, with past cross-country experience. Happy to do low-level competitions if suited to the horse.

I'm super reliable and a responsible car owner, punctual, and highly respectful of other people’s tack, horses, and yard rules.

Nearly 6'0" (approx. 70kg).

Horse Requirements: Looking for a responsive, forward-going ride with a light/medium build, ideally 16hh+ and able to take a longer leg.

I don’t mind mild vices but I’m not interested in a lunatic either. (Been there done that, plus I've got a kid I want to go home to!)

What I can offer: 3 days per week (flexible on exact days, open to weekdays/weekends). 100% happy to do full yard duties on my days (mucking out, turnout, bring in, feeding etc).

Location Radius: Based in Sonning Common. Checkendon / Peppard area is ideal, but happy to travel up to 30 minutes in the South Oxfordshire / Berkshire border area (e.g., Woodcote, Pangbourne, Goring, Henley, Wallingford etc).
