HUNTING PONY WANTED PLEASE READ

Hi I’m looking for a horse to hunt for my 13 year old daughter, not to buy/loan/share but DONT LET THIS PUT YOU OFF. She is not able to hunt her pony as that would absolutely blow its brains so we are looking for a pony she could take hunting one time at the end of October. If your pony is for sale we can put a white ribbon on its tail (meaning it’s for sale) and that would likely catch attention, she can make for sale/loan posts on TikTok and instagram she gets a few hundred likes per TikTok and 1000+ views most TikTok’s a lot of followers and mutuals so even more likely to find a buyer. She’s not very heavy so we would be open to a 13.2 but max height would be 15.2/15.3. We would possibly go bigger but it depends. She is an incredibly ballsy rider in fact she enjoys something that has some quirks, don’t mind bucking/rearing as long as the horse itself is not nasty or tries to get you off (and succeeds most times). Nothing overly dangerous just a bit of fun, preferably something that could pop a hedge don’t worry she is incredibly sensible and won’t be throwing it at 1.60 hedges, she is a very quiet rider so if your horse is a bit sensitive she would be great, not handsy at all relies totally on her seat and is more of a leg on and squeeze rather than a kick and steer, she is super quiet into fences no matter the size. We would happily have her take out something young for a bit of experience even if your not selling it or if you don’t really want to take it out yourself, the hunt is at our yard we know the grounds very well and it is organised by my sister in law so we know it very well and know our way around. It’s a great atmosphere and the opening meet isn’t crazy. We would love if you came to watch the first bit, if you haven’t hunted yourself or want any info message us, but if you don’t know there is the inevitable log that you either go over or go home, and there’s some good ditches out there so it does need to have confidence but hunting is great for youngsters for experience. We do plait anything that has a mane and hog cobs, we are very tight on presentation however we don’t plait their tails. If you wanted to ride your own horse or another horse with her to keep an eye on her at all times your welcome or just come along and ride in the hunt anyways you can do that. We will of course sort out the logistics etc closer to the time wether we keep it at ours for the night and you meet us there in the morning (if you come) however not totally certain. If you wanted to hunt with her don’t worry she wouldn’t be nervous to jump hedges with you if you told her the horse could do it and she was allowed she would happily jump something big with you but she is of course very careful with other peoples horses. She has experience with riding young ponies or naughty ones for young kids so she could take your kids pony out if you reckon she could fit on it and sort it out if it is a bit of a monster! Bear in mind we love a super cob so don’t hesitate to contact us just because your horse is a heavier cob (or lightweight, no discrimination here!) as long as it jumps and will be a bit of fun! Open to anything even if it’s not totally what I’ve written here or if it’s a bit under the height. If it is over the height please remember she is only 5’4 so can’t get her legs around something massive if it needs extra support that’s the only reason I’m not as convinced to go bigger, she currently has a whizzy little 14.2 welshie show jumper /eventer that will through in a cheeky buck/rear/bolt/cat leap.
