Shadow is a 15.2h, 4yo ISH x Connemara cross dun gelding with full recorded breeding and a green book

He embodies the best of both breeds, he is athletic, careful, intelligent, and kind-hearted. He has an extremely serious and forgiving work ethic for his age.

Shadow excels at pretty much everything we ask! He jumped a clear round at his first showjumping competition, he loves cross country schooling, and has excellent flatwork for dressage.

Shadow is brave and honest to a fence, regardless of the height. He has jumped with us through 1.10m away from home, and we believe he would make a serious competition horse for an amateur as he is never hot, excited or strong to jump.

Shadow has started learning to jump through grids and practice his flying changes

He has a soft snaffle mouth and requires very little leg to keep him going. He is easy to ride in the contact and extremely adjustable to a fence.

Due to his athletic ability and quiet nature, we think Shadow would best suit an amateur rider working with a coach, an experienced competition rider looking to produce their next star, or a mother/daughter share with ability to keep a young sport horse in a program.

Shadow has shown us he loves showjumping most, with his consistently scopey technique and brave approach in new rings, he would also excel as a future working hunter, eventer, or riding club allrounder type.

Shadow is very gentle and easy for anyone to handle, catch, load, shoe, tie, plait, bathe, etc. He is happy to hack out alone or in groups and has no vices whatsoever.
