It’s with a very heavy heart that we are looking for the perfect new home for Reuben. 💔

Reuben is the sweetest, most loveable 6-year-old cob with the biggest personality. He genuinely follows you around like a puppy dog and absolutely loves attention and fuss. ❤️

He is a pleasure to do on the ground and is:

✨ Fantastic to catch

✨ Great with kids, dogs and other horses

✨ Loads and travels well

✨ Good for the farrier

✨ Good to groom, lead and handle

✨ Up to date with teeth, vaccinations and farrier

✨Happy to live out 24/7 but is also well behaved in a stable

Reuben has been professionally schooled and has shown huge potential, particularly over fences where he is brave and bold and just loves a job. He has competed in 50cm and 60cm unaffiliated classes, where he has been an absolute legend. He has jumped up to 90cm at home and even popped a 1m puissance wall without hesitation. He has experience of cross country where nothing fazed him.

He hacks alone and in company and is incredibly unflappable. He is not spooky and is completely unfazed by heavy traffic, including motorbikes, tractors and large vehicles. He is not strong or silly and is a really enjoyable pony to take out and about.

He has a fun, cheeky personality and, being only 6, is still developing and needs someone who will continue his education and bring out his full potential.

He is NOT a novice ride or a first pony, hence his reason for sadly needing to be sold. He needs a competent, confident rider who understands young horses and wants a pony with huge potential to go out competing, event and come home with plenty of rosettes! 🏵️

He has napped on occasion in the arena, particularly if he feels his rider isn’t confident, but since being schooled this doesn’t seem an issue now, and once he knows he has a capable rider on board. For this reason, the right rider and home are particularly important.

We also think he would make a fantastic hunting pony — he has the attitude, bravery and perfect temperament for it.

Reuben is a genuinely talented special pony with so much to offer the right person. This is an incredibly difficult sale, so a 5⭐️ knowledgeable home is absolutely essential.
