Reggie finished racing three years ago. RoR eligible on a Weatherbys passport. He has had a very quiet life since and has had plenty of down time due to absolutely no fault of his own. He had 8 weeks professional retraining when he first came to us after finishing racing which went really well, my daughter then went off to university and due to me having double knee surgery which my recovery has taken longer than expected Reggie was turned away until January this year so he has had time to mentally mature after racing. Since January he has been ridden by a friend and he has been fantastic, he hacks out alone, completely unfazed by traffic, not at all nappy and will hack alone or with others. In the school he is obviously green but he is a very quick learner and has a keen and willing brain. He is a kind and gentle horse who loves people and he doesn’t have a nasty bone in him. He is excellent to shoe, trailer, lorry, shoe, clip and great to catch (he walks over to you!) he will weave if he knows it is his dinner time but it is only at his dinner time and he loves a routine. He will pop a jump no issues. He has no medical issues at all and is ready for someone to bring on and get out and about. He is nice off the leg and not a plod, he seeks the contact and will work in an outline and can carry himself. He is presently only shod on front and has excellent feet for a TB - every farrier always comments on how good they are. He would be suitable for someone wanting a nice willing horse to produce over the summer, he is ready to start going out to clinics etc to continue his education, he would not be suitable for a complete novice as he is green.
