"Rackwood Sophie" Black Mare Mountain & Moorland Pony

Sophie is offered for sale through no fault of her own. Due to rising costs, I am sadly unable to keep both her and my older retired mare. Sophie is far too talented to spend her life as a field ornament - she deserves a home where she can continue to shine.

Last season she achieved excellent results in-hand, including qualifying for Stars and the SEIB Search for a Star Finals in two classes, where she placed 4th in both. She has very low mileage and has not been over-shown, making her a fantastic prospect for someone wanting to step straight into this year’s show season with a quality horse.

Her loaner reports that she can be stubborn under saddle, so she would not be suitable for a novice rider. She has plenty of potential and presence.
