"Prince" Dark Bay Gelding Ex Racehorse

Super heartbreaking sale, due to no fault of his own 😞

Prince is a 16yo, 15”2 TB, great hacking horse and super sweet nature who has so much love to give ☺️ Sale is purely due to my pregnancy.
He is good to do in all ways - farrier, dentist, bathing, physio etc. He only raced 4/5 times so, barely an ex racehorse really! 😂
Prince has his days that he can be a little spicy and fresh at times to ride, so a confident rider is a necessity. He is never nasty, and would never ever rear or buck - he just gets a little pully from
excitement! (especially showjumping!)
He has done cross country, dressage, showjumping in the past, but as I say, requires a confident rider to do so.
He is a great hacking boy, and it’s his favourite thing to do! So ideally this type of home would suit him to a tee. He is used to cars, and living on a farm is also fine with tractors and machinery. Dogs, sheep, cows also don’t bother him ☺️ We live by the coast, so his is completely unphased by wind when riding and in his field, but if super heavy rain he prefers some shelter! 😂
Turnout wise - he is happy to be in a herd but doesn’t mind the odd time alone either. I’ve never had to worry about him that way. He isn’t remotely aggressive or rude to other horses.
He has been off work for a few months due to my pregnancy, but would happily come back into work if he found the right home. I’m happy for my friends to ride him for you if you wish to see him! Due to this he’s currently barefoot, but usually in work has two fronts shoes on.
He truly is the sweetheart gelding on our yard and we all love him dearly. He’s a gentleman to bring in, out and just a lovely horse to be around. He lets my young son groom and feed him, and is also not bothered by dogs. He is a little furry monster at the moment due to being off and living out over winter 🙈
He is in amazing condition and health, and considering he’s an TB the years I’ve had him he’s barely had any issues - just a little chest infection from bad straws and cut his leg once from a bad fence! He is regularly seen by his wonderful physio to keep him in good order ☺️
I am truly heartbroken by this, and am in no rush to let him go - so serious enquiries only please.
