Monty is a lovely 3-year-old Thoroughbred gelding looking for his next home following his recent retirement from racing. He retired sound and injury-free; he simply wasn't fast enough for the track.
A genuinely sweet-natured young horse, Monty is easy to ride, sensible for his age, and not the spooky type. He has a kind temperament and is proving to be straightforward both on the ground and under saddle.
Monty would suit someone looking for a lovely hacking horse to enjoy a few times a week while he continues to mature, or equally a home happy to turn him away for a year to grow and develop before bringing him back into work.

We were advised that Monty had no vices. Since arriving with us, we have noticed him attempting to windsuck. We have put a crib box on his post, which has successfully stopped this behaviour.
Monty is a lovely young horse with plenty of potential and is now ready to find a knowledgeable home where he can continue to develop at his own pace.
