"Olaf" All Rounder

OLAF III —

(TALENTED DRESSAGE HORSE/COMPETED@MEDIUM/ EVENT PROSPECT)

Approx. 16.1hh | 7-year-old | Bay AES Gelding

High Society × Imperial

An athletic, quality sports horse with a lovely light frame, an enthusiastic attitude to his work and talent across the disciplines. Olaf would make a talented eventer or a lovely ladies’ dressage horse. He is an easy horse to have around very polite and sweet.

Carefully and patiently produced, his education has largely focused on dressage. He has competed up to Medium with good results, is schooling at a higher level and finds lateral work easy. His trainer believes he has the ability and willingness to progress further.

His jumping is showing plenty of promise too!

Bred to jump, Olaf has a good natural technique and is currently schooling around 1.10m. With his established flatwork and jumping ability, he offers an exciting foundation for someone looking to pursue eventing.

His experience includes:

Placing at combined training championships

Unaffiliated showjumping

Farm rides

BD Dressage competitions

Hacking and riding in open spaces

An excellent hack who is good to take out in company or alone, Olaf could continue his competitive career or enjoy a varied life with a capable rider.

He enjoys human company, loves being around other horses and happily lives out in company.

Olaf is a forward, enjoyable genuine ride. He suits a light, effective rider who enjoys an enthusiastic horse that wants to work with them. He can become keen when jumping and would suit a competent amateur, professional or experienced teenager. Not suitable for a novice this is a competition horse.

A much-loved horse with a strong foundation and plenty to offer someone looking for a rewarding partnership.

Please note:

• Requires sedation for clipping

• Needs holding for the farrier

• Custom-made Childeric dressage saddle available by separate negotiation

Olaf has previously passed a five-stage vetting and X-rays.
