Far too good to miss ……
15.2hh (might be 15.3hh now), 5yo, Wetherby’s reg tb, excellent pedigree with Group 1 sire (by Galileo) and dam granddaughter of Sadlers Wells. Well put together, lovely stamp of horse. 3 fabulous paces. Very pretty mare. Real quality.
Crossed with other breeds would produce quality foals for a variety of purposes including sports horse or competition horse / pony depending on sire chosen.
Turns out with mares, geldings or in a mixed herd.
Happily lives in or out. I’ve had her in at night in winter due to our livery yard policy.
Fully vaccinated, recent dentist, up-to-date with farrier and chiropractor.
Good to shoe or trim, in fact anything you have to do to her she has been fantastic and just let you do it. Good to load and travels well in a trailer (and I’m told lorry).
She’s intelligent, willing and quick to learn.
A real Yard favourite ….
When ridden she was the kindest, most reliable and forgiving mare who tries really hard for you. Ridden by novice and able to hack out alone, no napping, no bucking, no spinning etc - no spooking just the occasional ‘look’ – give her a minute and she’ll figure it out and go past. Totally sane with nothing nasty under saddle at all. Good with slow and wide traffic. Green in the school but learning each time, stands at mounting block, rein back, leg yield, good transitions, starting to ride in an outline. Been to arena hire, no problem. Popped small jumps although green and still learning. Would have made a super riding club / low level eventer which is what I bought her for, and had wanted to breed her too a bit later. She had everything to make her a great competition horse.
Sadly, she has an injury meaning she is paddock sound but not if ridden regularly. Full disclosure to future home but it’s nothing hereditary just undisclosed to me at purchase. If non-ridden no treatment required. Otherwise very healthy.
No vices, just she is mareish, and needs competent handling by someone used to mares.
Looking for long term home, prefer an outright sale, but happy for long term loan or lwtb to the right home – but want her to be a cherished member of someone’s family and herd. She’s a truly lovely mare.
Offered as Broodmare / Companion due to injury meaning she is looking for a non-ridden home.
