"May: stunning, quiet, ideal amateur dream horse with ability" Chocolate Dun Mare All Rounder

May is an absolutely smashing dappled chocolate dun purebred Connemara mare. Her grandsire is the famous Class 1 stallion, Silver Shadow

She shows impeccable, consistent technique over fences, jumping with square knees and good bascule

She is never strong to a fence and jumps with a very soft landing, making her an ideal choice for amateur riders

May is extremely confident and mellow in new places; she is never spooky, nervous, or bold in any way

She always schools in a snaffle, and is a confidence-giving ‘more woah than go ride’ without being a kick-along

May loves hacking alone or in company, she is very quiet around cows, machinery, traffic of all kinds

She is comfortably schooling up to 1.10m with our rider with room for more, she is never hot or excited even to bigger fences

May enjoys cross country and has no issues with water, ditches, drains, etc. She is equally brave to natural obstacles and does not ever get strong or silly

She is very relaxed and tolerant of a bad distance or rider error; she is a mild mare with no opinion or mareish behaviours whatsoever

May can live in or out with no change to her energy level or character

May schools easily in the contact and has comfy, steady paces for dressage. She is certainly quiet and focused to go happily on a loose rein as well.

She is very gentle for anyone to handle; very quiet to load, shoe, catch, tie, plait, hack alone, wash, etc.

May is a rare find; talented and athletic with a kind-hearted, ultra quiet personality for a nervous rider, riding club adult, amateur competitor, or mother/daughter team to enjoy. We are certain she is the perfect choice for anyone hoping for a stunning, easygoing allrounder with ability.

May is open to any vetting
