"Hattie" Bay Mare Happy Hacker

15hh TB mare will be 14yrs end of April (never raced). Owned for just over a year. Bought as a mother/daughter share happy hacker but my daughter is too novice for a TB and has lost her confidence riding. We have used her for hacking and she has been brilliant in all traffic, walks past tractors, noisy trailers, lorries/ milk tankers, bin trucks on narrow lanes without any issues. We have only hacked her alone. Ridden in the field in summer and popped a very small jump but not done any schooling with her so would need work on this. She was used as a happy hacker in her previous home too. Very sweet little mare but can be a bit sensitive some days so would benefit from a quiet confident rider/handler. Does crib in the stable when eating. Very respectful of electric fencing. Has been turned out with mares & gelding and turned out in her own paddock next to them.

Since end Dec has only been lightly hacked 1/2 times a week and not ridden for the past few weeks so would be sold from the field for someone to bring her back into work properly. When in consistent work she is very relaxed out hacking and more woah than go, but has had a few little naps and got a bit excited on the way home the last few times ridden. Up to date with vaccinations, dentist and farrier ( All have been done in April 2026) Not suitable for a novice as needs bringing back into work properly.
