Both are easy to do in all ways, never had laminitis. Good to handle, for farrier. Live out all year round, very low maintenance.
I have owned Fay since 9 months old, since arriving down from the Shetland Isles, and Fergus since birth. They have always been part of the family, this is not an easy decision but my circumstances mean that I need to find them a new home.
Fergus has been ridden by my children but never formally backed as such. He is a good boy but can only suitable on lead rein and could be a typical Shetland if allowed the space to do so, just a bit cheeky.
Both have been out with other mares and gelding, never giving me any problems. Fergus would be great with young stock as he can still be quite playful whilst Fay would let a youngster know if they were going too far (also useful!)
Must be viewed and homes will be vetted, this is an incredibly hard decision. Price is for both of them, as a pair.
