"Charlie " Bay Gelding All Rounder

Charlie is a handsome 15.2hh, 7-year-old Irish bay gelding with a lovely temperament and plenty of potential. He’s a real character who comes to call, loves attention, and thrives on being pampered, with excellent manners both on the ground and under saddle, making him a pleasure to have around the yard.

He lives happily in or out and is currently in a mixed herd, proving to be easy to manage with a kind, genuine nature. Charlie hacks out confidently alone or in company and is happy to go first or last. He is great in all types of traffic and with farm machinery, taking everything in his stride. He has been out jumping and cross country and would make an ideal hunting horse for someone looking for a fun and capable partner.

He had some time off over the winter but has been brought back into work over the last few months and is going well. He loads well, is good with the farrier, and is currently barefoot although he has been shod in the past.

I am selling Charlie on behalf of my auntie, with the only reason for sale being ill health. Due to his age, he would be best suited to a confident, experienced rider to continue his education and bring out his full potential. A 5⭐️ home is an absolute must.

He does grow himself a bit of a “moustache” over the winter months, but it disappears again by March!
