Chance has been with us for 3 years teaching different levels of children to ride.
He is a very talented horse who is super comfy to ride with three lovely floaty paces and a scopey jump. He's good to hack alone and in company and never gets strong or silly. He's been out to local competitions and done plenty of beach rides all with novice riders on board.
He's up to date with teeth, wormer, vaccs, physio etc and good to do in all ways, loading, clipping, grooming etc. He does have a small lump on his belly the size of a golf ball that has been investigated and found to be nothing to worry about and hasn't changed in the 3yrs we've had him. He is barefoot, lives out 24/7 and does well over winter.
Unfortunately Chance is up as more of a project horse as he has developed a bad habit of bucking when in stressful or frustrating situations. I believe this is is due to him being ridden by several novice riders and we feel he'd be better suited with a one on one relationship with a more established rider.
Please note, he has had a full check up including a back x-ray and there is nothing physically causing him issues.
I have been riding him for the past 6 weeks and have not had this behaviour whilst riding at home, only when we've gone out to shows etc, and this has been in the first 5mins and then once accustomed to his environment he's calmed down and been awesome. You can tell from the pictures we have great fun with him! Given time and proper training this will completely go away and he'd be someone's horse of a lifetime!
He will only be sold with a 1 month trial period to make sure he's with the right person and doesn't get passed around. He is a much loved boy who needs a fresh start.
Based near Burnham, Buckinghamshire.
If you think you could offer him a great home we are open to offers. But he is priced as a talented project. 5* home is a must.
