"Callie" Bay Mare All Rounder

Callie - Super allrounder, ideal lead rein, 2nd ridden / potential pony club pony.

Callie came to me 18months ago after spending the previous couple of years in a field not doing much. We completely started again with her and she has been bought on slowly and correctly over the last 18months. She is up to date with dentist, farrier, vaccinations, physio.

She is a sweet pony once she gets to know you and loves a cuddle and lots of attention. I initially planned for Callie to join the riding school, however she does not particularly enjoy lots of different people fussing over her and different riders getting on and off her all the time. She has never done more than pull a face but I think she would be much happier with more of a one to one home and just one or two special people to call her own. Once she gets to know somebody she is a really sweet, loving little pony. I want her to continue to enjoy her work and be as happy as possible. This is the only reason she is for sale.

Callie is lovely to have on the yard, she is the first to come over to you in the field and great to handle in all ways. Good to lead, tack up, bath, farrier etc.

Ridden - Callie is safe and sensible under saddle. She stands patiently to mount. She is great to hack both alone and in company, will happily go first or last and doesn't get excited in open spaces. Will happily walk, trot, canter and has good breaks. In the arena Callie is happily working in walk and trot but is still a little unbalanced in her canter. She tries her best and is improving all the time. She has never put a hoof wrong, no bucking, rearing, bolting etc. She enjoys pole work and has shown real potential over jumps, both on the lunge and free schooling, although we have not jumped her under saddle. Callie has had a variety of riders from tiny tots and complete beginners, just off lead rein, to riders more competent in walk, trot and canter. She has always been perfectly well behaved for all and will always try her best for her rider.

Callie will come with all rugs, tack etc. Home is more important than price so open to sensible offers around the asking price.

Open to any trainer, vetting etc. Would consider a short term lwvtb (to stay on current yard).
