"Blue" Grey Gelding All Rounder
Stunning 16.2 Irish Draught gelding, genuine gentle giant and capable low mileage family all-rounder. Solid background in doing a bit of everything without ever being over competed, never been injured, no vices, no illnesses, full of energy – he loves jumping and being out and about. This horse is so careful he has stopped himself from falling before to protect our daughter who he has taken care of since she was 13 (now nearly 18).
This lovely boy will take you to a showjumping or cross-country fence with confidence and comfort and will hack for miles at whatever pace you decide. He goes up and down the paces on voice command or leg and is the perfect mixture of brave and careful.
He loads and travels perfectly, has strong healthy hooves, is perfect to clip, with farrier, dentist, vet etc. You can take this boy anywhere for no hassle fun - he will look after you on the road, in the woods, over fields or in the school.
He is very self-aware with impeccable manners and never barges, pulls or runs. He never bites or kicks and can live in or out, being just as happy in a small quiet family setting as he was on a large busy livery. He will happily change his routine to suit your lifestyle.
Ridden by the whole family - daughter, mum and dad he is a saint of a horse that hacks out alone, in company, in big or small groups, with other geldings and mares. He’s crossed bridges, been through water, past tractors and oil tankers, passed pig farms, cows and sheep.
