"Koora's Kindred Spirit (Kip)" Chestnut Colt Youngstock / Foal

Koora’s Kindred Spirit – “Kip”

Chestnut colt, born May 2026. Expected to mature around 16–16.2hh. Available at weaning.

A really smart, quality homebred colt with plenty of presence, a lovely outlook and an interesting performance pedigree.

Kip is by our homebred warmblood stallion Koora’s Inamorato (Forinth × Graphic Flare) and out of BSS Koora’s Friend, a Knabstrupper × Oldenburg mare.

His pedigree combines established European sport horse lines with some particularly strong performance breeding. His sire line includes Forinth, Calypso II and Grannex, while his dam brings together traditional Knabstrupper breeding with Diamond Hit and Don Schufro on the Oldenburg side. It is an unusual combination of bloodlines that should give him plenty of versatility for the future.

Kip is an attractive, well put together colt with good bone, a lovely head and a real presence about him. He has been herd reared and allowed to develop naturally, while being regularly handled, and seen by the farrier.

His sire and paternal granddam are all here with us, along with his full sister and 2 x paternal siblings, so his family, type and temperament can be seen rather than simply read about on paper.

With his breeding, temperament and natural athleticism, Kip should make a lovely prospect for someone wanting a quality youngster to produce for the future, whether for dressage, eventing, jumping or as a smart all-round sport horse.

Available at weaning and can be gelded before leaving if required.
