"Mikey: ultimate schoolmaster! steady, experienced, easy and reliable" Dapple Grey Gelding Schoolmaster

Mikey is a 16.2h, 10yo dapple grey Irish Draught cross gelding with extensive experience eventing and showjumping 1.0m competitions with ponyclub

He has hunted 3 season with Laois Hunt and proves to a level-headed, steady ladies’ hunt horse

Mikey has been loved by the same home since he was a 3yo. Their daughter going to college is the only reason for the sale. We know he will make a wonderful family hunt horse, granny/granddaughter share, or ponyclub teacher for a child.

He has steady, slow paces to learn on and is unbothered by rider errors

He has competed in dressage and schools well in the contact in a loose ring snaffle

Mikey is totally unflappable in all situations. Safe to hack alone or in groups, in open fields, in chaotic competitions

He is a been-there-done-that ride, easy and uncomplicated and able to babysit novices and nervous riders

Mikey can ride on a floppy loose rein or soft in the contact. He is more woah than go, and definitely a kick-ride.

He is gentle for anyone to clip, catch, tie, load, plait, wash, etc. He is used to being loved by a girl and adores attention of all kinds

Mikey is open to any vetting
