"Freida" Piebald Filly Young Sport Horse

Frieda – 15hh Coloured Mare (3 Years and 5 months)

Born March 2023

American Paint × Oldenburg Dressage

Frieda is a beautifully bred, eye-catching 3-year-old coloured mare, homebred and carefully produced from birth. She combines the striking looks of her American Paint dam with the quality, movement and trainability of her sire, making her an exciting prospect for the future.

Her sire, DEVIVIO, is a modern Oldenburg dressage stallion successfully competing at Advanced Medium and training towards Grand Prix. He is renowned for his exceptional temperament, rideability, willingness to work, expressive movement and outstanding pedigree—all qualities that Frieda has clearly inherited.

As a weanling, Frieda was successfully graded with the AES, impressing judges with her natural movement, excellent attitude and calm temperament. On grading day she took everything in her stride—travelling, bathing, plaiting, loading, visiting an arena and returning home without putting a foot wrong.

Since then, she has been allowed plenty of time to mature naturally, with regular handling, routine farrier visits and correct management. Earlier this summer she was professionally backed and has proven to be a genuine, willing young horse. She walks, trots and canters confidently in the school and hacks both alone and in company. She has also hacked sensibly with a quiet, balanced rider, demonstrating her kind and straightforward nature.

Following her backing, Frieda has enjoyed a short break to allow her time to mature and is now ready for someone to continue her education. Sadly, due to a change in the owner’s career and lack of time, she is available for a new home where she can fulfil her considerable potential.

She is up to date with worming and farrier visits, and recently passed a Grade 2 pre-purchase veterinary examination for insurance purposes.

Frieda has all the attributes to make a quality all-rounder or dressage horse. She is willing, easy to handle, and has an eye-catching presence wherever she goes. She is now looking for an experienced and knowledgeable home that will continue her education and allow her to reach her full potential.

As she is only three years old, she is not suitable for novice owners. She is currently being sold from the field following her break. She will be brought back into work later in the year, at which point her price will increase.

💥 Priced realistically for a quick sale due solely to the owner’s change in circumstances. This is an excellent opportunity to purchase a quality young mare at a very competitive price.

A knowledgeable, experienced five-star home is our absolute priority for this lovely young mare.

Please don’t hesitate to get in touch with any questions or to discuss whether Frieda may be the right fit for you. Viewings are warmly welcomed, and she can be seen in her field by appointment.

Videos of her cantering and trotting are available.
