Sturdy Mini Cob

Conker is a beautiful, sassy but laid back and chunky 12 year old, 13,1hh mini cob who is absolutely adored by all. We bought him 7 years ago and he has been happily living with our other 2 geldings since then as 'leader of the pack'. Conker is not a fast paced boy; he is known and loved for his laziness but loves the occasional plod around the school where he will happily do some basic flat work, including poles and all 3 gaits. He is also talented at liberty work and is great fun to play around with in the field and in hand as he is an incredibly sociable boy who adores being in the company of other horses and people. When poo picking in the field he will often come over and stand by you for company sake and then will not leave if you offer a back scratch! Conker adores hacking and would excel in a home wanting to take a laid back, chunky and sturdy horse on fun rides/ endurance rides with the assurance that he will not run off! Has been through the whole teenage ideal: putting up with being ridden bareback, ridden by friends, photoshoots, dressing up, being laid down next to, going under his tummy. As horses go, he is bombproof and we have never fallen off him since owned. Loads the trailer beautifully but hasn't travelled since being purchased, good with farrier, good with the vet. Fully up to date with vacs, hooves and teeth.

Has been ridden by experienced riders, novices and complete beginners without any problems but has been known to be strong when schooling when we first bought him, hence the stronger bit. He is therefore not ideal for very young riders on their own, but would definitely suit a family willing to do lead rein work along side him and a young, inexperienced rider.

He has spent the last year out of work due to no fault of his own, simply due to a lack of time and is being put on loan to free up space for another project horse. Questions encouraged, just message me. Loving homes only, as he is truly an adored boy. Based in Cambridgeshire.
