Create my profile now!'Homer' 39.5/100.7cm AHC 2021 standard black shetland gelding. Extremely, sad sale for family due to him being hopelessly outgrown.
He is a truly unique pony, full of shetland spirit and character can turn his hoof to anything.
He has a great attitude and is a top class performance pony (small but mighty)!
He has brought much joy too many children who have ridden him for us but, does require a confident jockey that is not phased by his spicy spirit. He has a wonderful kind temperament and loves a pamper.
Racing, Working Hunter, Showjumping, Dressage, Showing,Hacking , Cross country rides - he’s done it all.
Shown successfully at County level with open championship wins at BSPS/NPS. Has qualified for Horse of the Year Show 2021.
Has been shown as a first ridden however never campaigned at County level. He is without a doubt a contender for the junior HOYS working hunter class.
Homer raced with the Shetland Pony Grand National 2022 and attended the many of the races with consistency throughout the year. He did attend the trials day 2023 and was due to race however, my daughter has sadly out-grown him prematurely.
Travels well, will stand on a box all day alone. Barefoot and easy to do in every way. Everything welfare up-to date. Please note, he has never been on the lead rein.
Price includes homers racing and showing tack. He currently has no jockey and been out of work since pre Christmas and this is reflected in his price, not his capabilities.
