2 mini Shetland geldings

Very sad sale of my two gorgeous mini Shetland ponies George and Gus.

George is a 13 year old mini Shetland gelding and Gus is 1 and 1/2 year old mini Shetland gelding.

Both are much loved and very well handled. George is bomb proof on the roads (walked out regularly), Gus has been walked out a couple of times with George and not been fazed. Both good with the farrier, up to date with teeth and vaccinations.

George has had laminitis once before (Nov 2022) but has been managed since and it’s not been an issue. Restricted grazing is needed - this is common for shelties. George also has mild sweet itch in the summer months which is easily managed with a sweet itch rug.

Gus is a very well bred miniature Shetland pony, I would have thought he would show well. I have also considered the idea of driving them both as a pair once Gus was a bit older and had properly matured.

Both ponies are so sweet and affectionate, very loving and cheeky. They deserve to be utterly adored by someone. I unfortunately no longer have the time and am looking for a break from horses for a while. These lovely boys will not go to just anyone, 5* homes only.

Both ponies come with rugs (turnout, stable and sweet itch) and George’s Cavallo hoof boots and storage box. They must go together and not be separated - they are extremely well bonded. I have lots of photos & videos which I can share upon request. Price is for the pair.
