Completely HONEST advert…

Annie has been with me for a couple of months as the lad who brought her said she was just too green for him and now wants an older horse who’s been there and done it to teach him the ropes, however she’s had a lot of training since then.

She is fully up to date with teeth, vaccines and chiropractor, and is now ready for a confident novice or amateur that wants a sweet little mare to produce and make a super little fun alrounder for someone.

She’s got the basic foundations now for someone to kick on and get going with her.

She’s good to shoe, clip and load and is not mareish at all on the ground.

She is happily working in the school, I’ve popped her round a small course, she passed a 5 stage vetting with current owners. I’ve took her hacking in company, but not on her own, however I don’t think this will be an issue as when I took her out in company she was at the front marching away, had the occasional spook, but never napped, spun or anything like that just jumped and then carried on walking just like a baby horse would do

Now the not so good points but also not massive issues…

Annie can be a bit of a handful to turn out, she doesn’t do anything massive but might try and sit on your lap if a pigeon flys out the hedge or might do a big fancy trot if another horses starts running about in the field, however this is all still manageable in a normal headcollar and has got 95% better now summer is here and she’s in regular turn out.

She also has had the occasional buck if she hits a fence when jumping but a confident novice and above will not see an issue in this, I have attached a video of evidence of this, nothing nasty at all and most people will turn a blind eye to it, and this is the reason she is not being advertised to complete begginers… with that said beginners have still came to try her despite my advert, and the mare has been a saint… she’s been kicked over the arse and scambled on from people who couldn’t even leg up and had people hanging round her neck in front of the saddle when they’ve told me they could jump and she just came to a standstill … so maybe I’ve underestimated the mares tolerability !
