WANTED all rounder type. 14.2-15.2hh

We are still looking for the next horse for my 16 year old son.

South West areas only please.

We are looking for a sane and sensible all rounder type to do a bit of everything on- SJ, XC, jump cross, hacking, lessons, RC events, local shows/local agricultural shows etc.

Gelding preferred but non mareish, level headed sensible mare considered. Around 7-10 years ideally, maximum 12 years.

Must be capable of jumping a maximum of 80cm sj course including fillers- no dirty stoppers etc please- at local shows and local agricultural events only. We aren’t really looking for a BS pony or high level competition pony as we don’t jump BS and have no wish to affiliate- nor are we looking for something jumping 1m plus as we won’t do that either- we are just looking for something sane and sensible that enjoys jumping, who can hold its own at local level shows, and that my son can enjoy, and carry on from our 20 year old mare who has retired from jumping this summer.

MUST hack alone and in company and be sensible in traffic, MUST be 100% to load and travel in a trailer, and MUST be 100% to shoe.

We don’t show so not bothered about blemishes as long as they don’t cause any issues, but we are looking for something healthy and without a history of ulcers, sarcoids, tendon issues, arthritis etc.

Will be coming to an experienced, loving and permanent lifelong home for the right pony- we have our own land/stables with 24/7 turnout all year round available. Will be coming to live with our current two ponies, both now semi retired, a mare and gelding in their 20’s so ideally we are looking for something that will turn out quietly with them once settled as part of a mixed herd of three.

MUST be open to minimum 2 viewings, five stage vetting and our instructor if we wish to seek her opinion.

Around mid fours at maximum, and we are looking to buy with tack, we are a genuine forever home for the right horse but we just have not found what we are looking for as yet.
