Super talented mare
Metti is a classy, petite 16hh, 7yo, Irish mare. Metti has phenomenal breeding to include obos quality, chatsworth quality and Daphne.
Metti is the sweetest horse on the yard. Her temperament is faultless , a real nice mare that’s trusted around the kids and just a pleasure to do in every way. Very loving and affectionate and loves having one to one attention.
Met has three collected , attractive and balanced paces. She’s well schooled and established on the flat. She does simple changes and has a great rhythm.
Metti has enough talent to be jumping around some big tracks in the future. Exceptional jump , so careful. However Metti is sharp and strong to a fence and around a course. She isn’t an easy ride. For someone who likes the fast and furious type and likes to ride against the clock, then this may be your little partner in crime. Met has gone a bit sick in the arena. She’s a sensitive mare and this can sometimes make her sharp. She wouldn’t ever intentionally want you off, however she would take a run with you from time to time. This is something she just needs to be ridden through to overcome it in her mind and learn there’s nothing to worry about.
Personally, I think Metti could do with a good stretch of some hacking out and having fun. She’s a superstar to hack. Excellent in traffic. Not sharp or silly. Good in open spaces. Will pop logs etc out hacking and really enjoys this lifestyle. I think this would be beneficial before returning to working in arena and over fences etc.
Metti also has very good breeding, great confirmation, straight limbed, no health conditions, super qualities and a fantastic temperament which would make her perfect to breed from.
If you’re wanting a top competition horse that has it all there but needs a strong, yet empathetical and dedicated rider and you’re looking on a budget then this is the mare. If someone puts the time , effort , and kindness into her you’ll get it all back from her, the mare has the heart of a lion.
I’ve been in love with her for two years, finally bought her but in all honesty I’ve taken on too much. I already have a mare that’s super tricky and I can’t give the time and dedication to Metti that she deserves, as well as feeling I don’t have the best experience behind me to help the mare move forward in her career. Very sad sale but I have to be honest with myself and do what’s best for Metti....Read full description
