Hacking: Oreo loves his hacking and can be hacked on or off lead rein. He is a gem with the heaviest traffic. Off lead rein Oreo is a forward but very very safe ride, will ride and lead off another horse he isn’t strong for a little rider. He will go first or last out hacking and wait when asked at road junctions. He’s seen everything out hacking on the roads and isn’t at all fazed.
Schooling: Oreo will school nicely He is responsive to what’s asked of him and he isn’t a lazy cob. Oreo is also very voice command so he’s not a tiring ride for the smaller riders.
Jumping: Oreo loves his jumping, and he sure can step up for a more capable rider. He will go round at a steady pace unless asked other wise. He’s seen a few different types of jumps at the shows he has been to.
Shows: Oreo has been to a lot of local shows and always been placed well. He’s mainly done inhand glasses due to at the time not having a rider for him cause of his size. He’s not fazed by the show atmosphere. His show manners are excellent and will do what’s asked of him. He’s done inhand with the smallest of handlers and he doesn’t snatch for grass or anything.
Loading/ clipping/ farrier/ vet: Oreo will load like a dream on trailer and lorry. He will be loaded first or last and will wait on the lorry/ trailer. When clipping he normally has a full clip and does stand with or without food he’s good to do but just gets a bit head shaky on his ears. When having the farrier he’s barefoot and he just stands there like a gem. When the vet comes out it’s only for the vaccinations and he has them like a gem too. He’s never needed the vet for any health problems.
