Fred is 15’1 full Connemara. He is 11 years old.

He was previously up for sale but due to circumstances we feel he would be better on loan to move yards.
He is up for full loan to move yards as we don’t feel he is up to competing at the level my daughter would like him at. However, he is her forever horse that we would love to see make another person just as happy.
He is the sweetest boy, kind temperament, so chilled out on the ground. He will sit with his head in your lap and fall asleep!
We feel he would be best suited for someone who wants to do a lot of hacking and a little bit of flat- not to focused on jumping as he has recently had his hocks done and some shock wave therapy and we feel to make him feel most comfortable he shouldn’t be jumped more than twice a month. I can talk to you more and answer any questions about this. He currently has 1 more treatment to go and we would love to see him at his new home in a couple of weeks.
He is a sweetie and super safe- I’ve had novices hack him on the buckle, he had 2 months off whilst having treatment and didn’t bat an eyelid when I got back on. He would be great for someone who just wants to love and care for a horse!!
He is perfect in every way- great to shoe, clip, goes in Horsebox or trailer with any horse, has been on beach rides and great in traffic. Great to pull up after having a canter and if he does have an occasional spook he gets over himself and doesn’t carry it on throughout the ride.
No financial requirements are needed to come to us, however being on full loan to move yards in return his farrier bills, livery, hay, feed… would be your responsibility.
