The Ultimate Equestrian Christmas Gift Guide 2023: Unwrap Joy for Horse Lovers!
Equestrian Advice & Guides All Disciplines
I have owned Archie for just over two years, he has taught me the ropes from coming off ponies onto horses, taking good care of me along the way. He has proven to have lots of talent, winning in classes at Bicton’s Summer Tour and getting placed regularly in other events.
In the time I have owned him, I have competed up to 105 mainly. Archie is not a straight-forward ride, so definitely would suit a bigger rider as he is a large horse and needs someone who will tell him who is boss when needed, while riding and on the ground. He’s snaffle mouthed, and never gets super strong but can get keen when he gets going. He’s got all the scope and three lovely paces, and with the right rider he would carry on to prove that. He is a real character and makes you laugh a lot but is never nasty, or dangerous. This is an honest ad, as Archie really needs a suitable rider to carry on jumping well. He is cheeky and has some bad manners but I’m sure there’s someone out there who could keep him in check.
I am selling him as I will not have as much time to exercise him and generally give him the work that he needs, due to leaving college and starting work full time.
