(Sire = Zafonic USA, Dam = Cut and Run)
Zagazig (aka Charlie) has been most recently used for dressage, competing at novice level and always scoring mid to high 60’s, schooling elementary at home.
He has qualified for two consecutive years for the Sunshine Tour (novice). He behaved impeccably well in the big arena.
Now needs a quieter life, someone who doesn’t ask too much of him, happy hacking, schooling, popping few low jumps.
He has recently been professionally retrained loading onto a small lorry as he had an accident coming off a trailer.
He has carefully been brought back into work and whilst carrying a bit of extra weight, he is in good condition.
Would suit a small adult as he is a fine 15.1h, not a weight carrier. Charlie has been previously treated for ulcers but has had no re-occurrence of symptoms due to complete diet change.
Charlie is very sensitive in the mouth and needs a quiet, calm rider to get the best out of him.
He is good to hack, alone and in company. He is better turned out with company and likes his routine.
Charlie does weave but it has never been a problem for us, he has weave bars on his stable.
Good to shoe but needs sedation for dentist and clipping. Up to date with vaccinations and dentist.
Charlie will come with a full set of rugs and an older GP saddle. Newer dressage saddle negotiable at separate price.
The right home is very important to us. He might be 19 but doesn’t look or act his age and still has a lot to give.
Ideal Mother/Teenage share, small or private yard preferred. Honest advert of a quirky but much loved 19yr old thoroughbred.
