Montana stands at approximately 14.3hh, currently bum high, to finish at 15.1hh approx.
I have owned her since weaning, and she has been nothing short of a pleasure to own and deal with.
Has been on a couple of outings this year, and was absolutely fantastic. She went XC for the first time, and proved very bold. Confidently pops off banks and over ditches and small fences.
She is good in traffic, although hasn’t hacked much recently as we are situated on a busy road and therefore I don’t find it very enjoyable. Saw plenty of traffic in hand as a yearling and was never phased.
In the school, Montana is green but sports a good work ethic and with time will produce a lovely test as she has three nice paces. She has not been rushed, as she is a big framed horse and has been to allowed to develop slowly.
She is polite with good ground manners, has strong barefoot feet and is good for farrier, dentist, and falls asleep being clipped. Loads first time onto anything and usually ends up being the nanny horse for tricky loaders. Never been sick or sorry, she has truly been the easiest horse I’ve ever owned.
Due to her age and greeness, she is not for a novice and needs someone competent to continue her education. With the right jockey she will excel in any sphere, a true all rounder and will be a super exciting prospect for someone.
Sad sale of a yard favourite, however I have two others and lack time at the moment to do her justice.
She is in work, and will be taken out more over winter to some hunt meets and winter shows, clinics and hires, so price will increase with time if not sold.
Tack can be negotiated, (she has had a brand new fitted jump saddle worth 1.2k alone a couple months ago). No time wasters please. Based on outskirts of York. Calls after 6pm, text anytime. More photos & videos available.
