Crunchy is a super smart palomino pony with character who needs a competent jockey to fulfill his potential. He would make a super working hunter pony. He loves jumping 60 to 80 cm, and although he has been xc schooling at all our local venues and done lots of pony club he is only lightly competed at local level. He started as a lead rein show pony, with his previous owner aged 4-5 years, adored by the judges. My son was 9 when we bought him and he did a year learning to do mounted games. He is good and obedient with the equipment and had children vault on him but he is not a fast games pony. He has done two mini camps, one on the lead rein and one junior camp. He has been borrowed by older children (8 years and over) to ride, and has been ridden by a 5 year old off the lead at home and at pony club, but I would not describe him as a schoolmaster first ridden as he needs a child who will ride him forward, rather than be a passenger. He is good to hack, shoe, load and clip. He prefers to live out with company and is very sociable, he wouldn't be happy living alone. He is outgrown by 12 year old boy, used to life on a large yard with dogs etc. 5* home required.
