The Ultimate Equestrian Christmas Gift Guide 2023: Unwrap Joy for Horse Lovers!
Equestrian Advice & Guides All Disciplines
Oreo was purchased as a 3 year old to be produced as an event pony and he was absolutely fantastic but just before beginning his British Eventing career he tore his deep digital flexor tendon in his stable overnight in October 2021 which required surgery.
Surgery was successful and he’s been given plenty of time to recover and has since been doing bits of trot work and little bits of canter in the school. I don’t want to risk jumping him or him being in full work but he would be great for someone who wants a bubbly pony to hack around on and have a little best friend to spend time with. If no one suitable is found he will stay with us forever but the hacking is rubbish here and I struggle to find time for him with other horses in work and broodmares/foals to look after so would love for him to have his own person.
Would be perfect for a teenager or small adult who loves keen welshies. He’s never put a foot wrong and is really well behaved but has a typical cheeky Welsh pony character.
I’m 5’2 and 53kg and was absolutely fine riding him. However, No one over 56/57kg please
He is available to move yards, preferably within the Nottinghamshire/lincolnshire/yorkshire area but would consider further for the perfect home. Videos demonstrating your riding ability and references will be required
A contract will be in place, and all costs in relation to Oreo are to be covered by loaner
