I have owned Echo for 7 years now and due to personal circumstances, he is now looking for his forever home.
Echo has recently turned 14 and stands around 16.3hh. Echo is from the “Tempest” bloodline of Anglo European Sports horses and I am his second owner.
Echo has recently competed around 100cm ODE this season and was in the ribbons. He is currently jumping round 1m course at shows and Echo will easily jump over 1m20 at home. He is a great confidence booster to take out jumping and will always take you safely round a course (SJ or XC) and has never stopped at a fence. Echo has done all pony club activities, clinics with top instructors, unaffiliated competitions and qualified for numerous finals. Echo has the scope, passion and ability to easily take the right person to Novice/intermediate level and would not be for sale if I could give him the time and attention he deserves. Echo will pull you into a fence and can be strong going round a course but is not silly or uncontrollable.
Echo will hack out alone or in company but can be spooky. He is good to do in every way (clip, load, shoe etc). His only quirk is that he can sometimes show signs of being cold backed and can be very sensitive. Therefore requires a patient, confident and knowledgeable rider so absolutely no novices please. It has never been an issue for me and it is manageable, hence how long I have owned him for (since I was 16).
He can sometimes be sharp but this does not make him nasty or dangerous. He is very forward off the leg and has never been ridden with a whip or spurs. He would suit older teenager/adult.
Extremely sad sale so 5* home only.
